Cottages

The cottages are located in 15 multi-unit buildings (i.e. duplex, triplex, etc.) and are very much like a single-family home. The cottages provide an easier transition from your own home to retirement community living.

Apartments

Deluxe Terrace have their own washer and dryers in the unit, full size appliances and a terrace/balcony for outdoor living, these units are the size of our cottages/more spacious.  

Oak Lodge and Laurelwood Lodge Apartments feature a laundry room on each floor, an elevator for easy access, ground floor entrances and parking on 1st and 3rd floors, and the skybridge connecting to Oak Lodge. Each home offers an efficiency kitchen with a range and refrigerator/freezer and spacious closets.  Dishwashers are provided in the 2-bedroom apartments only. 

Waiting list

If you are planning to move to Linus Oakes Village within the next year or two, please consider going on the Waiting List. Being on the Waiting List has several benefits:

  • When a home comes available in the size that you request, you are notified of the availability and have three days to decide if it’s the right home for you.
  • There is never any obligation to take a home that is available.
  • There is no limit to the length of time you wish to remain on the Waiting List.
     

There is a $100 non-refundable waiting list fee, that is credited back to you when you move in.  And the waiting list form is easy – just name, address, phone number and the type of home you want.

Basic services

  • Continental breakfast, bistro-style lunch and dinner service featuring a full menu served in the elegant Oak Dining Room. Come anytime during dinner hours, sit wherever you like, and dine with whomever you choose!
  • Oak Lounge hospitality services:
    • Coffee, tea, & hot cocoa available all day, every day
    • Wine & hors d’oeuvres served every Friday and Saturday.
  • Reserved resident parking spaces
  • Individual transportation
  • Group local transportation by 28-passenger luxury bus for scheduled shopping trips, social activities and events within the Roseburg area one time per week.
  • Wellness Nurse services, Monday – Thursday. Fitness classes four days a week – taught by YMCA and dance instructors
  • Weekly housekeeping
  • Smoke and fire alarms
  • Staff on site 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
  • All utilities, except for phone
  • All interior and exterior maintenance, everything from changing a light bulb, to replacing an appliance, mowing the grass, to cleaning the gutters.
  • Maintenance staff on site Monday - Friday

 

Additional services

We strive to keep the monthly service fee all-inclusive, however there are some additional fees as listed below.

  • Scheduled group out-of-town and overnight trips, activities and events – cost varies
  • Covered parking (carport)
  • Guest dinners available
  • Pets welcome with deposit. Cats and dogs under 35 lbs. Limit two pets per home.
