Bishop Drumm Retirement Center

At Bishop Drumm Retirement Center, we are dedicated to providing seniors a lifestyle they can call their own with a variety of residential options and onsite amenities tailored to their individual needs.

Life at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center

Located on a beautifully-landscaped 15-acre campus, Bishop Drumm Retirement Center offers high quality care with a Christian approach. The continuing presence of the Sisters of Mercy provides that special quality of Christian love and understanding that has endured at Bishop Drumm since 1939.

The continuum of care on the campus offers the perfect solution for those who seek a quality living environment where they can 'age in place.' Bishop Drumm is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). In simple terms, a CCRC provides multiple levels of care on the same campus, to residents for an extended period of time. A CCRC enables residents to stay with the same organization even though their care needs may change. Bishop Drumm offers several primary living options on the campus:

Bishop Drumm Care Center –Licensed skilled nursing
Martina Place Assisted Living Residence –  Certified assisted living
McAuley Terrace – Independent living

Many of our residents initially move to McAuley Terrace Apartments where they need few services and can enjoy the companionship of other independent residents. As time goes by, residents of McAuley Terrace may develop the need for assistance with their daily living activities such as cooking, dressing or grooming. In this event, it's reassuring to know that higher levels of care are available without having to move from the campus.

Bishop Drumm Retirement Center is a member organization of CHI Living Communities, a subsidiary of CommonSpirit Health. CHI Living Communities provides comprehensive care in a variety of living options, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.
