Madonna Manor has exciting new opportunities for a Staff Development Nurse to join our team!
The Staff Development Nurse maintains employee health information, educational programs, and facility and Nursing Department Orientations; administers TB screening, Hepatitis B vaccines, and flu vaccines; and assists with the hiring of RNs and LPNs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains employee health information and administers TB screening, Hepatitis B vaccines, and flu vaccines.
- Coordinates and leads educational programs for staff.
- Coordinates New Employee Orientation.
- Coordinates and leads Nursing Department Orientation.
- Assists with the hiring of RNs and LPNs, as required.
- Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities.
In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Staff Development Nurse shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.

Job Requirements
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of employment.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a RN.
- Currently certified in CPR.
