Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

The Food Services Supervisor ensures the accuracy of our resident assessments and care plan optimization. To achieve this goal, this position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assess and monitor the nutritional status of residents, tailoring meals to their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Oversee inventory, establish par levels, and collaborate with the facility’s buyer to ensure timely and accurate food ordering.
  • Process invoices and maintain seamless communication with department leadership.
  • Develop menus, process catering requests, and provide accurate pricing details.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

  • A detail-oriented professional with experience in food service supervision or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with various teams.
  • A commitment to maintaining compliance with CHI Living Communities policies and external regulatory agencies.
  • Must be eligible for registration or hold a license from the Dietetic Association or an Associate’s Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college.
