Linus Oakes has an exciting new opportunity for an Activities Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completes assessments, development, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the Assisted Living residents provided and of the unique needs and interest of each resident served.
  • Completes resident documentation as appropriate. Coordinates and implements a diversified wellness program based on resident needs, which include physical, spiritual, social, intellectual, creativity, leisure, community, and one-to-one activities.
  • Coordinates and implements activities for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Organizes and schedules community events related to resident needs and interest.

Job Requirements

  • 90-hour Basic Activity Course, OT, or OTA preferred or Certified Activity Specialist
  • Two years of experience in social or recreational programs in long-term care preferred
