Prentice O. Lipsey

President and CEO

Prentice has led Senior Living campuses for nearly 30 years. Prior to being named CommonSpirit Senior Living’s President and CEO, he was CHI Living Communities’ Sr. Vice President of Operations. He also was Executive Director of numerous post-acute care campuses, including our largest campus – St. Leonard near Dayton, serving 800 residents. Under his leadership, the campus earned several top industry honors and had the lowest staff turnover rate among many Senior Living campuses nationwide.

Prentice earned a master’s in health services administration from Xavier University and a bachelor’s from The Ohio State University. Additionally, he achieved post-graduate specialization in change management from Cornell, as well as health care leadership certification from Duke.

A fellow of ACHE and member of NAHSE, Prentice serves on AHA’s Post-Acute Care Committee. He currently is co-leading CommonSpirit’s Age-friendly care initiative so all aging adults may receive optimal care across the System’s expansive network.
