Christine Wasserman

Vice President, Communications

Christine oversees corporate-wide strategic internal and external communications, as well as media relations for each of CHI Living Communities’ campuses.

Backed by a Master’s in Communications from Bowling Green State University, Christine has more than 30 years of experience in acute and long-term health care, higher education and business. She earned her Bachelor’s in English and initially taught high school English and journalism.

Christine previously served as Communications Administrator for The University of Toledo. Prior to that, she was Corporate Director of System Communications for ProMedica, overseeing PR for the $7-billion health care system’s 15,000 employees, 11 hospitals and an expansive network of continuum care services. Before joining health care, she travelled extensively as a video writer/editor for Owens Corning, a Fortune 500 company.

Christine has served on numerous professional and non-profit boards. She has earned myriad regional and national awards for her leadership, writing, video productions and community service, including from Women in Communications, the National Nurses Association, and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
